Brewing methods in detail
Espresso
Rich & concentrated
25–30 sec · Advanced · 25–40 ml
Concentrated, syrupy and intense. The base for cappuccino, flat white and most café-style drinks.
AeroPress
Clean to full-bodied
2–4 min · Beginner · 200–250 ml
Fast, forgiving and easy to take anywhere. Brew a clean filter-style cup or a stronger concentrate.
V60
Clean & bright
3–4 min · Intermediate · 250–500 ml
A manual pour-over with a light body and clear flavour separation. Ideal for exploring delicate coffees.
French Press
Full-bodied & textured
6–8 min · Beginner · 300–1,000 ml
An immersion brewer that produces a round texture and heavier body. Simple and reliable for larger servings.
Moka Pot
Strong & intense
5–7 min · Intermediate · 90–300 ml
Strong stovetop coffee with plenty of body and roast character. Not espresso, but excellent with warm milk.
